Why Work at MBH?

At Mims Ballew Hollingsworth, we have built more than a law firm — we have built a team. With over 100 years of combined experience across family law and business litigation, MBH is one of the most respected firms in the Fort Worth–Dallas Metroplex. Our work is meaningful, our clients are counting on us, and our team rises to that challenge every day.

We are proud to have assembled a group of skilled, compassionate, and driven professionals who share a common belief: that clients — whether navigating a difficult divorce or a complex business dispute — deserve excellent legal representation and genuine human care. If that philosophy resonates with you, we want to hear from you.

Our Culture

The culture at MBH is rooted in three core principles that guide everything we do — how we serve our clients, how we work with each other, and how we grow as legal professionals.

Integrity & Honesty

We tell our clients the truth — even when it is not what they want to hear. That same commitment to honesty runs through how we operate internally. We expect transparency, accountability, and professionalism from every member of our team, and we model those values from the top down.

Excellence in Preparation

Whether we are preparing for a family law hearing or a business litigation matter, the preparation we put into every case is second to none. We hold ourselves to that standard as a team and invest in our attorneys and staff through mentorship, continuing education, and the resources needed to do exceptional work.

Compassion — for Clients and Colleagues

Divorce and family law cases take an emotional toll on everyone involved. We approach our clients with empathy, and we bring that same empathy to our workplace. We recognize that our team members are whole people — not just employees — and we support each other accordingly.

Collaboration Over Competition

We are a team, not a collection of solo practitioners. At MBH, attorneys and staff work together on cases, share knowledge, and support each other's professional development. You will never feel like you are navigating a case — or a career — alone.

We pride ourselves on communication — with our clients and within our team. You will always know where you stand and what is expected of you.

Mentorship & Growth

Our experienced attorneys are invested in developing the next generation of legal talent across both family law and business litigation. You will learn from some of the best in the field.

A Respected Name

MBH is recognized among the top family law firms in Fort Worth, with board-certified attorneys, Super Lawyers honorees, and a long track record of results clients trust.

Types of Roles at MBH

We hire for a variety of positions across the firm. Whether you are an experienced attorney, a paralegal, a support professional, or a law student looking to gain real-world experience, there may be a place for you at MBH — in our family law practice, our business litigation practice, or both.

Associate Attorneys

Our associate attorneys work directly on cases from day one — in court, in mediation, and in client meetings. MBH handles both family law matters and business litigation, giving attorneys the opportunity to develop a well-rounded litigation skill set. We look for attorneys who are skilled, driven, and genuinely invested in their clients' outcomes. Board certification in family law is valued, and we encourage and support associates who wish to pursue it.

Paralegals & Legal Assistants

Our paralegals and legal assistants are the operational backbone of our cases. They manage case files, coordinate with courts and clients, draft documents, and ensure that our attorneys are prepared and organized. Attention to detail, professionalism, and a strong work ethic are essential in these roles.

Administrative & Office Staff

From front desk reception to office management, our administrative team ensures that the firm runs smoothly and that every client interaction reflects our standard of professionalism. We value reliability, warmth, and strong organizational skills in these positions.

Law Clerks & Interns

We welcome law students who want hands-on exposure to complex litigation. Law clerks and interns at MBH have the opportunity to conduct legal research, draft motions, observe hearings, and work closely with our attorneys across both family law and business litigation matters. It is the kind of real-world experience that shapes great lawyers.
